Acceptable Use Policy
Rules for using WAPing (operated by Secuno LLC) responsibly. This policy applies together with our Terms of Service and WhatsApp/Meta policies.

Purpose
WAPing, provided by Secuno LLC, is built for legitimate business messaging — customer support, notifications, marketing to opted-in audiences, internal operations, and integrations you control. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets expectations for content and behavior so we can protect customers, recipients, and platform integrity.
Permitted use
- Sending transactional and conversational messages in line with recipient expectations and applicable law.
- Running campaigns and automations where recipients have consented or have an existing relationship as permitted by law and WhatsApp rules.
- Using APIs and webhooks for integrations that comply with our documentation and rate limits.
- Testing in sandboxes or low-volume environments without targeting real users until you are ready.
Guidance on opt-in and data protection appears in our Privacy Policy, Compliance overview, and Security pages. None of that replaces legal advice for your jurisdiction.
Prohibited conduct
You must not use the Service to:
- Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right (including intellectual property and privacy).
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or deceptive or misleading content.
- Harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against individuals or groups.
- Distribute malware, phishing, or other harmful or fraudulent content.
- Facilitate illegal gambling, controlled substances where prohibited, or other unlawful goods or services.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, other customers, or third-party networks.
- Scrape, mine, or harvest data from the Service or WhatsApp in violation of terms or applicable law.
- Use the Service in embargoed countries or for prohibited end users under applicable export and sanctions laws.
- Misrepresent your identity, your business, or your affiliation with any person or entity.
Messaging and consent
- You are responsible for obtaining and documenting consent, opt-ins, and opt-outs where required for marketing or promotional messages.
- You must honor unsubscribe and blocking requests in accordance with law and platform capabilities.
- Message content must comply with WhatsApp and Meta policies, including category-specific rules for commerce and restricted verticals.
Technical abuse
- Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without prior written authorization.
- Do not circumvent authentication, rate limits, billing controls, or usage quotas.
- Do not reverse engineer our client libraries except to the limited extent permitted by law.
- Do not use the Service to mine cryptocurrency, run open proxies, or relay unsolicited traffic.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations. Actions may include warnings, feature restrictions, suspension, termination of accounts, removal of content, and referral to law enforcement where appropriate. We may also act if WhatsApp or regulators require us to restrict certain activity.
Where reasonable, we will provide notice before suspension or termination and an opportunity to cure, except for emergencies, repeat abuse, or legal obligations.
Reporting abuse
To report abuse originating from our platform, contact [email protected] with relevant logs, message IDs, and timestamps. We take credible reports seriously and will investigate in line with our policies and the law.
