Contacts & Groups
lists campaigns can trust
Bad outreach starts with bad lists. Centralise numbers, enrich with tags, honour opt-outs, and sync segments into Quick Send or the campaign engine without re-uploading spreadsheets every week.
Overview
What are Contacts & Groups?
Lists that campaigns actually trust.
Pain: spreadsheets diverge from what operators actually messaged. Outcome: one workspace record per number with tags, custom fields, and opt-out flags that downstream features consume automatically.
Conversations still originate from QR-linked devices—this module does not grant Cloud API identity graph superpowers. It simply keeps the audience definition honest.
Contact import
Import contacts from CSV or add manually with phone numbers and metadata. Upload a file or add one by one. We validate phone format on import.
Tags & segmentation
Organize contacts with tags and custom fields for targeted messaging. Create lists, filter by tag (e.g. VIP, Lead, Customer), segment for campaigns.
Custom fields
Add custom fields to store additional contact information and metadata. Company, purchase date, source—use for segmentation and personalisation.
Opt-out management
Track and respect opt-out requests to maintain compliance. Campaigns and bulk sends automatically exclude opted-out contacts.
Auto-add and group extraction
When you chat or receive messages from anyone—in a group, personal chat, or community—their number is automatically added to your contacts. No manual entry needed.
The group extractor lets you extract all visible participants from any WhatsApp group. Paste the group invite link, click Extract, and save as a contact group. Export the list. Use it for campaigns.
Contact lists, tags, and segmentation
Create contact lists and add contacts manually. Manage lists and individual contacts. Use tags to segment for campaigns, support, or sales. Import from CSV, export for backup.
Groups panel
Groups show name, contact count, and source (Imported, Extracted, Organic). Use groups for campaigns. Combine multiple contact groups in one campaign run.
